A CAREER RELATED WEBSITE

 A website that I use frequently is Jamovi. This website specializes in the probability and statistics axis, and it´s a program that offers a wide range of tools for statistical analysis, for example, in this software you can perform descriptive analysis for various study variables, also you can perform linear regressions, partial correlations, among many other things.

I found this website this year when I studied "Probability and Statistics II" and since then I have used it constantly. Currently, I use it quite a bit, because I´m working with this program in my graduate seminar, in it I have developed activities and tutorials about the use of Jamovi and I have been able to apply them to students.

I like this website because it´s a tool that helps a lot in understanding statistics and makes the work that need to be done much easier. Also, it´s very easy to use and intuitive so anyone could use it.

POST 4: MY FAVOURITE MEAL

 Today I´m going to talk about a food that I like very much. I don´t know if my favourite meal has a specific name, but it´s based on white cream with noodles. This preparation consists of noodles with milk cream (although lately I prefer to use vegetable cream), mushroom, chicken, ang chives. For its preparation the mushroom should be washed and chopped to be sauteed in butter. When the mushroom is well well browned, add the chicken, salt, pepper, and garlic. When the chicken is sealed, add the milk cream or vegetable cream, and cook until the chicken is cooked through, and crown whit chopped chives. Scramble the sauce white some noodles and enjoy.

I like this food because it´s easy to make, it´s quick to cook and it´s delicious.

Due to the studies, I have little time to cook, and the chicken is a good lunch option because it cooks quickly and it´s a very important nutrient sources, because it´s a white meat that has a low percentage of fat and calories.

POST 3: MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

 In this post I´ll talk about my cell phone which is my favourite piece of technology. My cell phone is like a part of my body because I always take it everywhere. This device is my favourite due to its wide range of tools, for example: It can do take photographs like cameras, calculate like calculator, and many more functions.

My current cell phone I got it in January, I was working during the summer to be able to buy it. I use it every day, I use to listen to music, watch series, to play videogames and mostly I use it to view the map when I´m, going to somewhere I don´t know.

I think that the life would be a little more complicated without this piece of technology because we wouldn´t have so many facilities in our daily life.

UNIT: IMPORTANT DAYS AND DATES

 My favorite celebration is New Year. New Year is celebrated all around the globe on 1 January every year. 

In this celebration the families meet to wait the new year, and realized rituals to attract the good luck. 

In my opinion, this date is important for me because mark a new beginning and cause changes in the people. On the other hand, I consider that the fireworks looks beautiful, but it scares me. 

Post 2: Why did I choose my career?

 When I was a child, I had many dream jobs, for example, I wanted to be a geologist, because my cousin used to tell me that she earned a lot of money as a geologist. Also I wanted to be a architect, veterinarian and marine biologist. 

When I applied to university I only applied to pedagogy, in some universities I applied in pedagogy in mathematics and physics and in others in pedagogy in mathematics. One thing that helped me decide to study pedagogy was the love of teaching.

For two years I had online classes, so my first year of in person classes was very hard. I have lost my motivation, but the practices in the schools have been returned to me.

In the future I would like to work in a small school in the south of Chile.

Post 1: Who am I?

 My name is Sebastián, but my friends call me Tati, I´m 21. I was born in Hospital San José, Independencia. I have lived in various places, for example: La Granja, Combarbalá, Ovalle and Puente Alto. Currently I live with my uncle, my cousin and three puppies, Ámbar, Lucky and Rocky. 

I´m studying pedagogy in mathematics and physics, I really like math. My hobbies are watching anime, reading manga, and I like listening to music specifically chilean urban genre. My favorite singer is Pablo Chill-e and my dream is go to one of his concerts.

I used to practice downhill, but I had an accident and never practiced it again. Also I used to collect Hot Wheels cars. Currently I have two hundred and ten cars aprox, but I can´t buy more because I don´t have a place to store them.

Act 1: Where I come from?

 I was born in the commune of Independencia, but I moved to Combarbalá two months later. Combarbalá is located in the Limarí Province, in the Region of Coquimbo and it is the capital city of the commune of Combarbalá. The astronomic observatory Cruz del Sur is an important tourist attraction in the area, this, together with the combarbalita stone are responsible to represent the commune. 

I lived for fifteen years with my grandparents in Combarbalá, but in 2016 I moved to Ovalle, because I have to live near to my highschool.

Currently I live in Puente Alto with my uncle and my cousin.
